Strength doesn’t always begin with confidence.

Sometimes it begins with curiosity, with saying yes to something new, or with believing you’re capable of more than you ever imagined.

For Sharon, that journey started when she discovered triathlon in her fifties. Looking for a positive outlet to support both her physical and mental wellbeing, she stepped into a completely new world of swimming, cycling and running. What began as a personal challenge quickly became a passion.

Today, alongside running her own business and raising two children, Sharon is training towards completing her first 70.3 Ironman.

It’s a challenge that demands commitment, resilience and determination, but for Sharon it has become about much more than crossing a finish line. It’s about continually proving to herself that age should never define what’s possible.

That’s why she immediately connected with Freya.
